Elizabeth Marraffino - Rees

Elizabeth (Liz) Marraffino-Rees aka E. M. Rees, is an author and poet, who has written a number of children's and young-adult books. Liz lives in the Greenwich Village in New York City. To learn more about Liz or to read her writings please click on the links to the left.

Liz also is a painter and sculptor. Her art work can be viewed on the web site www.ReesArt.com. She teaches painting at two Manhattan locations: the JCC on 76th Street and Amsterdam Ave. and at the 14th Street Y.

"The Wedding" has been chosen to appear in the New York Public Library's Publication listing books of quality and interest called:
Books for the Teen Age, 2006.
Liz's latest project is an essay, "The Gods Among Us," appearing in Demigods and Monsters, an anthology of writings devoted to Rick Riordan's best-selling series Percy Jackson and The Young Olympians.
